Sheila developed a love of photography at a very young age, when she was given her first camera. She initially began her journey photographing nature. Her first wedding was a freelance project nearly 30 years ago but it was not until she had children of her own that she created a client base from “the neighborhood” not knowing how her fun hobby would eventually turn into an actual business.
Depending on the event, Sheila uses her photography as a family bonding opportunity and occasionally is joined by one of her “assistants”. Whether it is her son, who helps to carry equipment, her husband, who can make even the toughest subjects crack a smile, or her daughter, Ashley, who usually assists at photoshoots and afterwards with editing, helping mom can be fun for the whole family!
Most frequently as a mother-daughter team you can be sure your photo shoot will be full of laughs as we try out different poses and break you out of your comfort zone to get pictures that will last a lifetime.
We love getting to know people and traveling with you throughout life. We have met some families who started with maternity or newborn portraits and have been blessed to follow their life journey, up through senior pictures and even weddings! We can’t wait to work with you.
